We celebrated World Wide Knit in Public Day by Yarn Bombing the Nixon library lobby for this meeting. Here are the photos I took. Plus, some my sister took.
This last picture was taken the day we did the yarn bombing. We tried to hang some giant knitting needles that were donated to us that day but had trouble with them. The first picture at the top of the blog is the picture I took the next day when I was able to get the giant needles to stay up. :) Thanks to everyone who made blankets for the yarn bombing & to everyone who helped at the WWKIP Day. In about a month we will take everything down & donated some blankets to the animal shelter in Jacksonville & others to the VA hospital in NLR.
The next meeting will be Saturday, July 12 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Nixon library in Jacksonville.
Hope to see you there,
Opal
