Thank you Lydia for contacting us about having a meeting at the Plantation Agriculture Museum in Scott, AR. We really had a good time. I wish I had taken more pictures though to show all the fun we had.
We ate at Cothams for lunch right before the meeting. It was located just down the road from the Museum. We had our meeting in a building located right next to the Museum and some people even went over to the Museum at 2 p.m. for a basket making class. We meet 5 new people who came to learn crochet and loom knitting from us. It’s so much fun teaching people crafts. I hope some of them are able to come to our other meetings.
Lydia told me to contact her next year to see about us coming there again for another meeting. I think that’s a great idea. We’ll talk about that at a future meeting to find out when we would like to go back.
Here are the photos I took at this meeting:
The next meeting will be September 20 at the Arkansas Fiber Arts Extravaganza in Hot Springs. The time will be TBA. If you are interested in going you will have to register to go. Here’s a link to their registration page. The Extravaganza runs from Sept. 18 – Sept. 20 but not everyone stays the whole time. So, since most people show up on Saturday we usually try to meet together at some point on Saturday to visit. Just contact me on facebook or ravelry.com if you have any questions.
See you then,Opal
