August ‘09 Meeting

Hello everyone,

We had a great time at Leah’s house this month!  It was so nice of her to let us have the meeting there.  The pool was great!  The food was great!  It was just a great time.  I think everyone who came would agree.  :)  I didn’t get a group photo this time either but that’s o.k.  I think I got pictures of almost everyone.

We will be having the September 12th meeting at the Nixon Library in Jacksonville from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.  It was going to start at 11 a.m. but someone else is using the room right before us.  This will be our 2nd Anniversary meeting!!!  I was thinking of ordering pizza.  I’m going to have people vote on where we get the pizza.  I was going to get it from Pizza Hut in Cabot but I know some of you like Larry’s pizza and we have one in Cabot.  My mom is going to make a cake for us and if anyone else would like to bring other food to go with it that would be great!  I’ll be making some more Peach Tea and I will also bring dip and crackers again.  I still have plenty of plates, cups, paper towels and plastic utensils that I will bring too.  Also, we are going to try to have a yarn swap at this meeting.  So, be sure to bring any yarn you don’t want anymore.

Some of you wanted to know the brand of dip mix I brought to this meeting.  Here’s the web site:  www.peppersprings.com.  The name of the mix was Roasted Bell Pepper and I bought it from Kitchen Island in Cabot.  I’m not sure if they will close or not.  The last time I went in there they had a for sale sign in their window.  I hope they don’t close.  It’s a great store.
