The next meeting will be Saturday, December 13 from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Cox Creative Center 3rd floor meeting room in Little Rock,  If you want to bring any holiday snacks you can.  We decided to just get lunch from the cafe on the 1st floor of the Cox Creative Center & bring some holiday goodies to go with it.  I will bring some plates, forks & etc…. in case we need them for the snacks.

Here are some photos of the pillow case beds I was telling people about at the last meeting.  My dog Lucy just loves them.

I just take a King size pillow case and cut it in half.  I first turn the pieces inside out.  I then sew the end up on one piece.  The the other piece I some times sew the corners to make them rounded.  Then I turn this piece right side out.  Next I sew almost a full circle but stop so I can stuff it.  After I have stuffed it I finish sewing the circle.  I then make sure I have enough stuffing in the rest of it & then sew it shut.  You just put the pillow inside the smaller pillow case & there you have it. :)

Just don’t stuff it too much.  That will make it hard to dry when you wash and dry it.

See you next time,

Opal
