Knitting for Noggins

Hey everyone,

I wanted to tell you about what a great time we had at Knitting for Noggins. Susan B. Anderson was there again. She is such a sweet lady. I really enjoy talking to her. It was a little different this year. They had it in one of their conference rooms. Last time I went it was in a much bigger room and it lasted a lot longer. They had some really cute cookies shaped like hats for us. I should have taken a picture of them but I forgot. You can see a picture of them on Susan’s blog. She has a bunch of photos there and she also talks about meeting us and mentions the Yarn Dolls blog! She had all of her toys she made that are in her new book with her at this event. She talked about Knitting for Noggins and then went on to tell us about her new book. She makes it sound so easy to make her toys. I don’t know how to knit but I decided to buy her book that day anyway. One day I’m going to have to learn! :) Here’s the photos I took.

This last picture is of some hats that Susan’s 10 year-old daughter made for Knitting for Noggins. I just had to get a picture of them. :)  Susan said she helped her with the bunny ears on the red one. I think she did a great job on them! I wish I had time to talk about all the wonderful toys she has made but I’m afraid I just don’t have the time. :( You really should check out here book. It’s called Itty-Bitty Toys.

Hope to see you later,

Opal
