I didn’t think many people would show up to this meeting since it fell on the same weekend as Easter. I was so happy when people started showing up that day. We had seven people total who came. I didn’t remember to take photos until after one person left. Here are the photos I took.
We talked about what we wanted to do at the next meeting. Jennifer is going to bring her book that shows how to make stitch markers next time. So, if you want to make some be sure to bring some beads and some needle-nose pliers. Either me or Jennifer will bring some wire that we can use. We are also going to have a de-stash/yarn swap at the May meeting. I know a lot of you have been wanting to have one for a while now. So, if you have any yarn you want to swap or give away be sure to bring it with you.
The next meeting will be on May 9th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Nixon Library in Jacksonville. I’m so happy we are going to finally meet there!!! It’s such a wonderful new Library. If anyone needs directions getting there just call the Library at 457-5038. This number is not in the phone book because they changed it when they moved. Here’s the address too: 703 West Main Street, Jacksonville, AR 72076. It’s right after Walgreens on Main Street. It’s not hard to find.
Hope to see you there,
